Every Thursday Night, 9 PM, Underbones

Come watch the greatest road bike racing of the season. From the Classics in April and the Tour of Georgia in May to all of the Grand Tours throughout the summer, Redbones will be broadcasting the greatest events in sport downstairs at Underbones every Thursday night at 9 PM.

Schedule For May

May 6: Tour de Georgia - 9PM
The Tour de Georgia WILL be televised. Come watch the highlights as Lance and US Postal win this hotly contested race through the hills of Georgia. All of the best domestic racers are on hand, Horner, Dominguez, McCartney, Fraser, Lieswyn, Wohlberg as well as the national under 23 squad. They're riding against such greats as Cipollini, Jackie Durand, Jens Voigt and Bobby Jullich to prove themselves, and gain the respect of European cycling. Surely a monumental point in domestic American road bike racing.

May 13: Sea Otter Classic - 9 PM
Held in beautiful Monterey, California, the Hyundai Sea Otter Classic is the grand kickoff of North America's cycling season. Each spring this multi-day festival hosts a migration of the world's elite road cyclists and mountain bike racers. More than a series of races, the event is a gathering of riders, families, and friends. The Sea Otter is a rousing international celebration of the wonderful sport of cycling.

May 20: Tour of Romandie - 9 PM
Back to Europe and on to a stage race through the Swiss Alps. The Tour of Romandie offers all the necessary tests for the Grand Tour contenders: difficult mountain stages, an individual time trial and an opportunity to fine tune team tactics. Tyler Hamilton used the tour of Romandie in 2003 to signal his fitness level and cap off his best spring season ever. He's looking to repeat this year and reassure the public that his new squad Phonak is up to the challenge of the Tour de France. Keep an eye out for Tom Danielson, a fellow American trying to make good in Europe. He's racing for Fassa Bortolo and is looking to earn a ticket to the Giro d'Italia. Danielson broke Tyler Hamilton's Mt. Washington Hill climb record in 2002.

May 27 & June 3: Tour de Languedoc Part I&II - 9 PM
A traditional Tour de France warm-up, the Tour de Languedoc (formerly le GP Midi Libre) is a six stage event through the South of France. This Gran Prix should include many of the Tour de France contenders as they make final preparations for their tour aspirations. The course offers several categorized climbs and quite often some intense heat to test the riders hoping to earn a spot on their team's roster at the Tour de France.
