REDBONES SCORES A TRIPEL
BEER DINNER FEATURES THREE GUEST BREWER/SPEAKERS
& THEIR BELGIAN STYLE BREWS

Somerville, MA - The Belgians are back. For the first time in 7 years, Redbones is holding an all Belgian-style Beer Dinner - and this year it's a taste teaser for the BeerAdvocate.com Belgian Beer Fest on November 6th at the Cyclorama. Three highly regarded brewer/speakers will be on hand to talk about their Belgian style beers. The dinner on Tuesday, October 26 at 7:00PM, features Belgian brews and a Belgian inspired Redbones menu for $45.00 per person including tax and gratuity. Reservations are required; please call 617.628.2200.

"Belgium has enjoyed an unparalleled reputation for its specialty beers since the Middle Ages," according www.visitbelgium.com, where beer scribe Michael Jackson is quoted as follows, "no other country can match Belgium in the gastronomic interest and stylist variety of its beers." However, inspired by the Belgian tradition and the growth in popularity of hand-crafted beers, American brewers are now producing an impressive range of Belgian-style beers in the US. This fall, Redbones Beer Dinner and the BeerAdvocates.com Belgian Beer Fest together provide a premier opportunity to taste, compare and rate Belgian beers and their American counterparts.

"BeerAdvocate.com is thrilled to join RedBones in their continued effort to bring better beer to the area. We cut our teeth on many a beer at past RedBones events, and this dinner is sure to be a must not miss event for newbies to hardcore beer enthusiasts." - Jason and Todd Alström, Founders of BeerAdvocate.com

Redbones 3 guest brewer/speakers, and their Belgian-style beers, are:

Rob Tod: brewer/founder of Allagash Brewing Company, New England's original Belgian-style brewery. (www.allagash.com) Allagash 4 and Allagash Curieux

Will Meyers: brewer, The Cambridge Brewing Company (www.cambrew.com) Belgian Grand Cru and Tripel Threat - a Belgian Strong Ale

Dann Paquette: brewer, the Tap in Haverhill (www.tapbrewpub.com) Scheherezad - an interpretation of a Flanders "Old Bruin" (7.1% abv). Paquette is also brewing a special edition Belgian-style beer for BeerAdvocate.com's Belgian Beer Fest, but beer lovers will have to wait for that one!

Based on availability at the time of the event, Chris Bol, organizer of the dinner, will add more selections to this already impressive list.

Redbones, 55 Chester Street, Davis Square, Somerville, is open 7 days for lunch and dinner. Free Bicycle Valet Parking, free dinner delivery on the Rib Rider and catering are available. Call 617.628.2200 for more details.
