REDBONES - NOT YOUR AVERAGE SPORTS BAR
Davis Square, Somerville, MA - Redbones takes the TIVO out of two popular, annual sports events this July. On Monday, July 11, fans can watch Major League Baseball's All Star Break Home Run Derby live from Detroit while eating a Redbones ball park-style dinner and on Tuesdays, July 12 and 19 morning rides are scheduled followed by buffet breakfasts and viewing live broadcasts of the Tour de France. Reservations for all events are requested and may be made by calling 617.628.2200.
"The TV's in our bar are always tuned to the big sports events and people definitely come here to watch them," says Redbones manager Chris Bol, "but the Tour and All Star Break are a little different and fun for us to build special events around. They also give the kitchen a chance to show off some skills by serving foods we don't usually have on the menu." For the baseball dinner expect hot dogs, Redbones steak and cheese subs, sausage with peppers and onions, french fries, peanuts, chips, beer and more. The breakfasts include scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage and bacon, fruit, granola, yogurt and beverages.
